Text Box: Deborah Chappell leads the team with over 16 years experience: “I began my career as a solicitor in private practice, then moved to the legal departments of Barclays Bank followed by Avon Cosmetics. I then set up the Charity Departments for two large legal firms. The operational and management experience I have gained in large organisations has proved invaluable. I know the value of choosing the correct structures: they increase your efficiency, avoid extravagant mistakes, ease funding pressures and reduce insurance costs. Other people say I have a flair for demystifying legalese. We employ plain English in all the documents we prepare, so that they are useful management tools you can understand, not gathering dust and ignored. Together, we will identify your key priorities and action plan the other issues; then we work flexibly and methodically, offering advice by phone, email, home and committee visits – even post!
