Chappell Associates

Text Box: Deborah Chappell leads the team with over 16 years experience:
“I began my career as a solicitor in private practice, then moved to the legal departments of Barclays Bank followed by Avon Cosmetics. I then set up the Charity Departments for two large legal firms. The operational and management experience I have gained in large organisations has proved invaluable.
I know the value of choosing the correct structures: they increase your efficiency, avoid extravagant mistakes, ease funding pressures and reduce insurance costs.
Other people say I have a flair for demystifying legalese. We employ plain English in all the documents we prepare, so that they are useful management tools you can understand, not gathering dust and ignored.
Together, we will identify your key priorities and action plan the other issues; then we work flexibly and methodically, offering advice by phone, email, home and committee visits – even post! Appreciating that problems can be unpredictable, we are happy to be contacted evenings and weekends – especially by phone. You shouldn’t have to wait ages for legal and business advice: with Chappell Associates you won’t!
We deliver highly participative training, using a wide variety of techniques, so that learning is fun, practical and retained. Real-life examples make our workshops relevant: evaluations are enthusiastic.
I set up my own legal and business consultancy in 2005; my associates include experts offering assistance with organisational planning, accountancy advice, writing funding bids, management consultancy, financial planning and employment advice.
I am a member of the Charity Law Association, the professional body for charity experts.”
Appropriate advice on time, within budget.
